“Rochard” was a lot of fun, though not without a bit of controversy. I'm watching the price of the DLC intently. It's a 2D puzzle platformer, similar in some ways to “Portal: The Flash Version”, but bigger, shinier, with an original plot and quality voice-acting.

“AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome” is a heart-pounding thrill ride. Literally. Well, minus the ride part I suppose—you're just falling.

“Just Cause 2”, currently a daily deal for 80% off, is a sandbox action game—there is a plot, and I actually wanted more of it, but it's decidedly optional. You have a wide variety of guns and vehicles to use against your enemies, and infinite parachutes and grappling hooks by which to navigate. And the soundtrack is called “Music to Blow Shit Up By”. 'Nuff said. (Fair warning: I have the PS3 version. But I've heard good things about it on Windows, usually including a mention of the multiplayer mod.)

“Darwinia” is an RTS with an AI theme. You're rescuing a virtual world of AI people from an infection of computer viruses.

“Beat Hazard” is a 2D space shmup, similar to “Asteroids”, with the twist that the pace of gameplay is determined by your music. When the music gets soft and/or slow, the game slows down. It comes with a selection of electronica tracks to start with, but part of the fun is experimenting with different music—“Mars: Bringer of War” works well, as does most of Zircon's album “Antigravity”.

This isn't a soundtrack to an actual game, but rather a sound track of gaming as a whole. At least, that's my take on it. If you like video game music, I highly recommend this album by Zircon.
