they make locking mailboxes. one of my neighbors has one. it's like a bank's night deposit box. you open one flap to put the mail in, which then drops down into a secure locked portion of the box so unauthorized parties can't get to your mail.

Similar fully-mechanical mailboxes/lockboxes like this already exist (mostly utilizing a deposit-only flip chute) and are avaliable at most hardware stores.
Setting aside the blatant self-promoting, this idea is just a pathetic attempt to cash in on the “make every a Smart X” trend by adding needless electronics and breakable components while “reinventing” existing products.
