not cheap, but we use the city select by baby jogger. It's a dream to push, folds easily, and can be disassembled in 2 minutes if you are trying to fit is somewhere small.
Oh and the seats can be turned in any direction, so you can have your 2 kids face each other if you wanted.
We just bought the City Select last weekend! There's a manufacturer sale going on right now so Amazon, BuyBuyBaby, Babies'R'Us all have the single seat strollers on sale for 400.
