I used brushes - a 3/0 round, 18/0 short liner and 10/0 flat shader. I don’t know from brushes so I just eyeballed which ones would work well at the local Michaels and it worked out pretty well. I had the massive advantage of a magnifying light which I love and highly recommend for gunpla in general but was particularly useful for this task. this is the one I have.

I am very happy with how bright and adjustable it is. The light temp feels good for painting too, not too blue like my last lamp.

One thing I put on my work bench that I don't think I could do without now is a magnification lamp. One like this or similar. So useful.
