You can go lighter/cheaper with the Savage Axis, but that RAP will keep you happy for a long, long time.
Warne rings are good to go, in my book. Very impressed with their dovetail version that I use on my CZ455, and now, my 457.
Also in that pricerange, give the Burris Signature Zee rings a look. These go on the vast majority of my rimfire and centerfire rifles. While not "tactical" they are of high quality and close tolerances.
