I’ve been struggling to find the time between work, family etc to unpack the 3 conversion boxes and reorganise all my cards and cardboard. This weekend I was family-less so spent an afternoon (with a mighty fine whiskey or two) to unpack, punch, organise and file.

For those interested, the foam storage solution is from Feldherr (as is the carry case I use, though that’s not in-shot), I have 3 mats in the tube, and all my cards and large tokens (obstacles, bombs, etc) are in the filing case on the left.

Happy to share more info and product codes for the storage stuff if anyone is interested.

Oh, and there’s the 5 epic ships (when are those being converted?!), a Lambda shuttle, a second Falcon and a Tie Silencer on display in my office, so not in shot either!

Ahh, the "What the FUCK is THAT?!" Bug. This brings back memories of Middle School in Michigan. It was the end of the year, and (to discourage pranks) the school had metal detectors set up at the entrances (Detroit, am I right?). I walked through and glanced at the wall to see one of these, and in my juvenile mind, it was 6 inches long. In retrospect I'm sure it was only about 3, but it was sizable. As soon as I saw it, it sped behind a framed class picture. Terrified by its speed and appearance, I immediately told one of the nearby janitors. He begrudgingly (and probably doubtingly) moved the frame, and to his surprise, there was the creature I described. Multiple children and a few teachers nearby screamed, the speedy insect ran around the corner, and as I followed, I turned the corner just in time to witness another student throw his zipper binder at the speed demon, and connect. Everyone gathered around to observe the dead, smashed remains of the many-legged beast, and the teachers quickly shuffled us students to class while the janitors cleaned up the scene. I'm fairly certain the hero child that killed it did not reclaim his binder.
