Pair that with a good waterproof 18650 case or cases and some spare 18650's. I'd get a bunch of 2 count cases like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QG9KXE2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_UWiJAbJEQTQHP

That way you can keep track of which pairs you've used already with the F2. Put good pairs in one backpack pocket and move them to another pocket after use.

It really depends on how long your trip is, and how much light you'll be using over the course of it. Getting a battery charger is a good idea. Since you're trekking and weight counts, I'll recommend a Nitecore F2 so you can bring it along. It can be a charger (from USB) or a power bank, using the same 18650 cells as your Wizard. You'll be more energy efficient by just carrying a couple of extra 18650 cells and swapping them into your light as needed, instead of trying to charge it off of a power bank. (you lose about 20% of the energy by charging one cell off of another). As far as battery safety, when the cell is in the light it is in the safest possible condition. If you bring extra cells, you should store them in a waterproof container designed for the purpose. Modern lithium cells have pretty good cold resistance, but if you are going to be using them in a particularly cold environment, there was a new cell recently released that is good to -40 (C or F, it happens to be the same.) However, you can buy almost 6 normal cells for what it costs, and most of them should work to temperatures well below freezing. These in the last link are one of the best deals on the market for capacity and discharge capability, and would be good for power bank use in an F2 or backup cells for your Wizard. Hope all of this helps, and good luck!

I have zero personal experience with the Nitecore brand, but I have been told that they make a decent quality charger. I can't speak for any of their other products.

For cases, I'd recommend Case Star waterproof cases as they are the only ones I have personal experience with. I have had 2 of them for a few years, and am very satisfied with the purchase. They seal very well, and they are cheap. They do not fit super snugly though, so the batteries do rattle a bit in the case. I solved this problem by padding the insides with a square of self-adhesive foam tape on the inside of each lid.
