In this price range, the majority of watches are fashion ones, with hit-or-miss quality control. Some turn out to be good, and some aren't.
Better brands in this range include Citizen, Seiko, and Casio, but they generally don't have watches with a simlar look. (Well, Citizen has this, which is vaguely similar, but that's about it -- also note that this is the men's version, and that the smaller ladies' version is around $20 more).
Bottom line: if you find a watch that you like in this price range, you might as well get it, because you're not likely to find anything similar and better.

Very formal and a little bit of an older style. This particular watch is not to my tastes but there is nothing objectively wrong with this watch if it's something you like. Citizen has a few versions of this watch, or at least a very similar design. The watch I've linked to also comes in a women's size, and I purchased one for my fiancee a few years back as a birthday gift,. She loves it and gets plenty of compliments. But at the end of the day, pull the trigger if you like a watch - that's what counts.
I love my Citizen Eco-Drive. It looks nice plus it doesn't really get scratched and no batteries to replace.
