These are recommended on many forums since they're economical, but support VESA standards for bigh bit rate. You'll get max compatibility with high refresh and high resolution with these.
I bought 2 of these recently in 3m length because I needed something longer than what I had, and I wanted to make sure I wasn't limited by my cable.
Does not come with a display port cable. You'll want to use a certified display port cable to get the 1440p 144hz (or 155hz oc)

Here's a 2 meter cable that I use. It is a certified displayport cable & works great for me!
This one has worked great for me: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F85RQD2/
I would highly reccomend you get a high-end displayport 1.4 cable such as this. It's worth the extra money. Displayport cables are known to be finicky. Due to the massive amount of information being transferred through the cable they are known to drop the signal if they don't have a perfect connection. So at 1440p 144hz with a cheap caple you may get signal drops and your monitor will flash off and on.
It may not do it now, but if it starts to do it just understand it's the cable and not your monitor.
For 4K 120/144 Hz you should look for a DP8K (HBR3) certified cable.

I care! :) Have you tried this yet?
I'm waiting on my Index and have read so many horror stories about extending cables. Seems like the most reliable thing to do is get a optical/fiber displayport cable. I'm hoping not to spend nearly that much money, since I'm not looking to go nearly as far as some.
My plan is:- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D949F59/ - same repeater as you, claims to be DP1.4 compliant so hoping it has no bandwidth issues.- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F85RQD2 - Club3D 3m long cable, importantly it's DP1.4 *certified*, so should have no problems with the bandwidth and hopefully little to no signal noise.
I will make sure to leave an Amazon review if/when I try it either (might be a few weeks because of life things).

EDIT: This setup worked perfectly for me @ 120 Hz! :) Haven't tried 144Hz.
I didn't read it entirely sorry about that.... just read the first part and then the comments.
Try switching out the cable
I got this one
Club 3D Displayport Cable 1.4 8K... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F85RQD2?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I have a 1440P 165mhz monitor and have had no image issues and all the other issues went away.
Edit: Yes anything not on that list is not certified.
I was looking into the 1.4 DP cables earlier too. I'm not sure if my monitor would work with a 1.4 cable though because I think it has a 1.2 DP port on it... I'm not terribly sure if that's how displayport works or not though. Completely new to it, so I'm just not sure.
I am at 1920x1080 and I did just try using the HDMI cable the monitor came with. Someone on r/Monitors suggested switching the two. But all it did was drop my refresh rate from 144hz to 120hz and disabled a couple of settings in the OSD.
I would much rather just order another DP cable then jump right to sending the monitor back. Although I need something a little longer than 6 feet, so I might try this cable instead. Although I can move my monitor mount to the other side of my desk if you think I should definitely go with the one you mentioned to be safe.
Oh, I saw you other comment about switching around the displayport cable ends too lol. I tried that, didn't work either sadly. Thanks for the help though. I really appreciate it :)
