I'm 6'1" and, until recently, was ~140lbs average for a few years despite usually eating >3000cal/day. My lowest sustained weight for ~6mo was 130 pounds on the same general diet. My job is also computer based (full-time web developer) and I enjoy my fair share of trees.
I've recently been changing this, though it's a tough battle. I've recently (last week) hit 160lbs and, although I drop here and there, I have a general upward trend. Here's how I've changed it:
1. Protein smoothie 2x day. This isn't a meal replacement, though -- drink it with breakfast. I drink it with 4 eggs (cheese optional), a bowl of cereal, and an apple (and anything else I'd like).
2. Gym. A lot of gym. Like, 20 times/month. Really, as much as you can take without hurting yourself.
3. Eat less sugar.
4. General healthy eating.
Let me know if you (or anyone else) want to chat more about it. I'd be glad to help you as best as I can.
Cytogainer is 54g of protein per serving (4 scoops) and is $40 for 6lbs.
