So if it isn't already black, I recommend a Japanese brand like Gatsby or Palty (I swear they're nicer).

After that, use some of the styling 'moving rubber' that Gatsby offers to style your hair.

As to hair care, condition WELL. Coconut oil is lovely, olive oil and avocado oil also help. Use a brush with smooth boar bristles and pegs combined. Tea Tree Oil shampoos assist in soothing your scalp and easing dandruff. An apple cider vinegar rinse once in a while is great for removing any weird buildup from product.
