I played my first bass gig last January (2018) with my Dean E09M. 199 bucks, and it's still the only bass I have (I always play guitar whenever I have a gig), but I wanted to play bass and eventually I got to the point where I could play for a 3 and a half hour straight show lmao. But afterwards I had this big ass blister on my right thumb lol (bc that's the finger I used mostly, still didn't have the quick movement in my middle three fingers)

I own a Dean E09M Edge Mahogany that’s 125$. The tone is amazing, and it’s a pretty standard bass, 1 active pickup and 4 strings. The only “bad” things about it is, a little bit of fret buzz and the tuners are a bit loose. But overall it’s an amazing bass for just 125$. Here’s the link
