Not really an answer for your question, but for attaching studs to a concrete floor, one of these will probably be much easier and just as effective: http://www.amazon.com/Desa-International-78708-Powerhammer-Fastening/dp/B00098407W

I grabbed mine at lowes. Just get the correct charge size.
