That would be an awesome feature, I wonder if those away from home light timers would work and be saw to use. Plug in a lamp without a shade and 150 watt flood pointed at your head. You will be up instantly. The first time my wife and I tried a 300 watt halogen, when it lit up we both woke up in a nanosecond screaming due to out retinas burning out. Bonus you can plug anything else in to it to wake you up, stereo, blender...depending on how obnoxious you want it to be.
Get an electric digital outlet timer, and plug in a lamp. I use a sun lamp. Using light is supposed to be better I heard.
