SAM-e is a pretty safe supplement and starts working within two weeks. any kind that comes in a blister pack works. drs best is usually good value for the price https://www.amazon.com/Doctors-Best-Support-Enteric-Tablets/dp/B0011FTJZ0 take one in the morning and one before lunch, on an empty stomach. if you tolerate it well increase to 2 per dose, if you get stomach upset, back down
