The black & copper pair don't look as cheap as the black & blue pair but I'm surprised Audeze is branching into the gaming market. I figured they were too far into the boutique market but nothing wrong with expanding the product stack. I see a couple big issues with these though:
Head tracking is a meh worthy gimmick too. Monitor manufacturers have been pushing eye tracking the past year or so which is more compelling because I don't move my head drastically enough during a session & certainly not enough to want to see data about it.
And finally, at $400 retail they're more expensive than just about everyone else. I don't see these doing all that well tbh. Cynical take but I feel my reasoning is justified.
Bought these for my kids Sennheiser GSP 600 Professional Gaming Headset
Overall, pretty good. Comfortable, FAR above average fidelity for a gaming headset, mic is probably one of the best mics I've ever used that is part of a gaming headset. Again, my kids like them.
I personally don't like gaming headsets.
My personal gaming rig does not use "gaming" headsets.
I use regular low end audiophile headphones paired with a mixer + mic.
Again this is solely for gaming and not listening to music.
For music it depends what I'm listening to but I have two primary set of cans.
This is my primary amp for music:
I caught the "headphone" bug so I've got tons of mid range cans too e.g. Sennheiser HD660, HD700, a couple of tube amps etc.
Hope it helps.

I've had these for about 3 weeks. I was tired of the plastic parts that connected the earphone to the head band breaking. My XO Sevens just did that and their not even a year old. These have aluminum connectors. And the surround sound is the best I've ever had.

They don't make the PC 363D anymore, they have the newer PC 373D which I'd definitely check out if I were you. You can get them for $96 euro on Amazon or on sale for $135 euro (normally $249.99) from Sennheiser. You should also check out the noise-canceling GSP 600 which is on sale on Amazon for $178 (normally $249.99) and the open-back GSP 500 which is currently $135 euros from Sennheiser or $144 on sale on Amazon (normally $225.) Any of those are good deals. You can see all their gaming headsets here.

I also bought the same rig for my fiance. It's the best i've ever tried, and i've tried ALOT of headsets. This is the only surround sound i've ever heard that's worth using.
