> Man you really got all that from his comment.

Yes. It's self-evident given the context.

> Regardless every game with a necessary download I've seen has a banner clearly stating that...

You must not have been paying much attention then. Here are quite a few examples of games that publishers have no qualms advertizing without any warning banner on Amazon: Young Blood Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition, Final Fantasy X | X-2, Banner Saga EU version etc. (the list goes on).

> not buying a game because it's digital only it dumb af

Again, if you think it's "dumb af" not to buy a physical release game just "because it's digital only", I have a digital bridge to sell you in Brooklyn. Would be "dumb af" not to buy a bridge just because it's digital now, wouldn't it?

12 Switch actually has updates that aren't available for 12 Steam -- allowing you to respec your jobs and gives you your gear in New Game Plus mode. So it's ultimately the best version of 12 out right now.

Final Fantasy X / X-2 is also available for a similar price, although there aren't any major updates to X / X-2 on Switch as compared to other platforms (the names for the ultimate weapons are restored to their better sounding Japanese versions, apparently):

X-2 is a digital download, however.

> Also, I expect X/X-2 to cost twice as much.

No need to expect; Amazon already has it listed for $49.99.

It was 35 bucks over the weekend and 35 now. Walmart.com also, which means you could walk into Target or Best Buy and price match if that's easier for you.
