I bought these risers from eBay, which work out to $5 per riser including shipping. It's plenty for two Detolf cases. I like these because they're wide and look pretty nice in the Detolf.

I've also considered using cupcake stands for displays but haven't actually bought it yet to try. Most of these are fairly small but would work for displaying nendoroids or other small figures.
