I'm sorry that you're frustrated. You may want to buy some FRERs and use those in the morning. Since they read positive at only 8.3miu of hCG if you are pregnant a FRER (First Response Early Results)should be positive. And then it may at least put your mind at ease that it isn't just a problem with the Target tests. Or that it is, either way.
I think we've all been where you are. It's hard! Trying to have a baby can be an incredibly emotionally draining process. I can't even tell you have many cycles I got my hopes up over symptoms only to get a bunch of negative tests and then my period.
So what's our take on the FRERs on Amazon? It's such a good price, especially with Subscribe and Save, but it almost feels too good to be true.
Should I go with my gut or my wallet?!
This happened to me, too, when I ordered FRERs from Amazon--I missed that in the title it said "packaging and test design may vary" https://www.amazon.com/First-Response-Result-Pregnancy-Packaging/dp/B000052XHI
So I guess this was a variation on "test design"? Still, I was annoyed. If I wanted a digital, I would have ordered a digital! Also, I do not need it to connect to my phone, wtf.
I have a suggestion for you here. Might wanna check into it.
First Response Early Result Pregnancy Test, 3 Count (Packaging & Test Design May Vary) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000052XHI?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
these are the scariest thing to me atm.
I've used clearblue before (link: http://www.amazon.com/Clearblue-Plus-Pregnancy-Test-Count/dp/B000NDS2CC/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1383003511&sr=8-7&keywords=pregnancy+test) and it said I wasn't pregnant which I wasn't so I guess it worked. Don't know how reliable it is though.
First response has better ratings on amazon though. (link: http://www.amazon.com/First-Response-Result-Pregnancy-Packaging/dp/B000052XHI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1383003511&sr=8-1&keywords=pregnancy+test)
Hope this helps a little! Both of those come with multiple tests, best to use first morning pee. I'm sure there are more reviews online if you want to do more research but tests seem to work pretty much the same.
I don't know where you live, but I might have given in to this.. https://www.amazon.com/FIRST-RESPONSE-EARLY-RESULT-Pregnancy/dp/B000052XHI/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1492207070&sr=8-3&keywords=first%2Bresponse%2Bpregnancy%2Btest&th=1
This one says 6 days
https://www.amazon.com/First-Response-Result-Pregnancy-Packaging/dp/B000052XHI
The accuracy percentage is slightly less the earlier u try, so think like 90% six days prior, 95% three days prior, 99% one day prior, etc. But overall very accurate.
I'm currently pregnant with my 2nd, we tried for our first for over a year, I've peed on more sticks than I'd care to remember lol
Different tests have different levels of sensitivity. These FRERs have great sensitivity (or at least they did for me, despite some of those reviews...) so I'd try one of those to make sure! Good luck, I know how frustrating TTC can be, especially with irregular cycles
Not necessarily. These ones gave me a + 6 days after ovulating.
Best of luck. Might as well test and put it to rest, right?
