Not OP, but I've used this one with some Minolta Rokkor lenses. It does the job.

Micro 4/3 lenses are pretty much universal, though you might not get full auto-focus or stabilization. If I remember correctly, Olympus tended to put stabilization in the body whereas Panasonic put them in the lenses. If you have a rental house around you, check out the Voitlander Nokton. They're pretty dope!

As for using vintage lenses, I don't know of any Minolta lenses that were M4/3 mount. The earlier manual focus lenses are SR-mounts, but 99% of the time they're just called MD-mount. The auto focus lenses are A-mount, which is now Sony's Alpha mount (although they've pretty much abandoned it at this point). You can get an MD to Micro 4/3 adapter for cheap (I own this). They'll mount fine, but you may or may not have complications with infinity focus. Mine let me focus PAST infinity, which is annoying, but better than the opposite.

The main thing is remembering about the crop factor. a Micro 4/3 sensor has a 2x crop on it (when compared to full frame). So that 50mm will basically be a 100mm. Also, not sure what DSLR you had before, but if you kept some of your old lenses, you could just adapt those. Good luck, man!

I would also say to consider checking out the Sony A6000 line, if you can find a good deal. it has a larger sensor than the Olympus, is just as easy to adapt lenses and has far more in the way of support.

Looks to me like this is probably the adapter you'll need:

I ask because I google this information and get articles about cutting down your mount manually and while I don't mind tinkering, that stuff also kinda scares me. Looks like something like this would work? : http://www.amazon.com/Fotasy-AMMD-Minolta-Adapter-Panasonic/dp/B0032MVQJM
