Stop asking your wife to drive it, telling the truth or not you see what is happening, she most likely isnt driving the car and clearly isnt changing that.
If you want proof, keep track of the Odometer. It is fine to not want to drive it by lying about it isn't good either.
Buy a battery tender/trickle charger. Lots of cars stay parked a long time and you can buy a cheap trickle charger. Get the battery charged up, and then leave that on it when parked. Most likely that car has an alarm system or a slow electrical leak that slowly drains the battery. This tender will take car of that so the battery is fully charged when you wanna start and run the car.
The last thing if you wanted it to simply not worry about it. You want to sell, she doesnt. You are the one putting in the effort to keep the car running, she isn't but she doesn't want to sell. Let it be her problem and if things don't work tell her why and remind her what she should be doing with the car and that you are tired of being the one caring about a vehicle you don't want and name isn't on the title.
