I like the blazer but am not really sure about the shoes, they are as you said a bit busy and that type of shoes with elastic fastenings tends to look a little lazy. They are also synthetic leather, and will get hot and sweaty really fast. Real leather breathes more and will look better in the long run. Maybe a pair of bucks of a pair of CDBs (clark desert boots)? They are more expensive but will last a lot longer than plastic leather boots and are quite frequently recommended here on MFA.

They aren't horrible. The weird distressing or different coloration of the toe is a bit weird. These are probably better quality and style if you have the ability to return and get these. But what you've got is not too bad.

If the hem is too large you could take them to a tailor to get them tapered and shortened a bit for this look. Bucks fit the bill.
