*Ashwagandha- I had chronic stress/anxiety-induced nausea and vomiting for years and it was eliminated within 3 hours of taking Ashwagandha (i use Gaia). The anxiolytic effects of ash- lasted ~1 month with daily use (~350 mg withanolids), but the stress reducing/chronic nausea is still gone (after 8 months). I gained ~8 pounds in 3 months with just ashwagandha.

  • Cannabis edibles (it's not the same effect as smoking) (e.g. Dixie Elixirs Relaxing Mints (I take 5 mg/day)]. I've happily gained 20 pounds since taking one each day (with ashwagandha).

  • Kratom (feels similarly to cannabis, and increased my appetite). I've only recently tried this. You take it as a single cup of tea (Gaiaethnobotanicals is a popular place to buy from, according to Reddit)

  • Ginger pills [you will use these very infrequently (e.g. once every 6 months) if you use the ash- and cannabis, at least]
