I have a Gub aluminum mount on my Brompton and also on my other bikes. It fits perfectly on the Brompton and holds the phone securely. It comes with plastic adapters to fit the diameter of the Brompton handlebars as well. This is the link to the Canadian Amazon site but I bet you can find it many places since it is sold by many many companies with different names.aybe it will work for you? I've been eyeing the QuadLock but it is just so expensive.

It's cheap, super sturdy (completely made from metal), looks quite minimal and grips the phone perfectly. I already used it on a two week tour through the alps (not only road, but a lot of gravel and some mountainbike paths) and the phone always stayed save in there.
I did not mount it on the handlebar, but with a long bolt (included) direct on top of the headset.
I just bought one of these and it’s incredibly stable. You can even install it onto your stem cap - I had to get a slightly longer bolt to reach my star nut.
