I've had it for about a week. I've ordered a black NATO Perlon band and a new leather band. Just not crazy about this stock band it comes with. I love the watch though. Here are the bands I've ordered. I'll probably get some others just to try them out.

I am recently the proud new owner of a Seiko sarb035. This is my first higher end purchase into the world of watches and I have a few questions on how to go about changing the strap. The band width is listed at 19mm however I have read that a lot of 20mm straps will work on the watch. I would like to purchase this hadley-roma strap for the watch if a 20mm strap will work. Also, this strap doesn't come with any pins. Should I reuse the pins from the original strap or look to purchase an extra set? What size pins would I purchase 19mm or 20mm? Thank you for helping out a watch rookie!
Hadley-Roma in honey or brown. I have the same strap in black and it's quite nice. I haven't tried any particularly nice straps though, so you can take my suggestion with a grain of salt.
I highly suggest a deployant clasp.
The actual strap that comes on the Rodina is kinda junky but the design is pretty basic brown leather so there are lots of superior options available. I highly recommend Hadley-Roma for affordable high-quality straps. I've bought a few things from them and every one has been great and I think many other people will also testify to that.
I don't have links to AUS specific Amazon pages but you might consider something like this, this, or this. I personally have the last one along with one of their deployant clasps (18mm clasp for the 20mm straps!) and think it looks great.
Stuhrling Original 'Symphony' 695.01. Looks casual-slightly formal so maybe some brown leather like this or this. For leather straps, usual recommendations are Hadley Roma if you're on a tight budget, and Hirsch if it's a bit more flexible.
