I really like (and use) these: http://www.amazon.com/Harbinger-Training-WristWrap-Glove-Black/dp/B00074H5MU/ref=sr_1_5?s=exercise-and-fitness&ie=UTF8&qid=1415390288&sr=1-5&keywords=workout+gloves
Wristwrap Gloves
I experienced the same thing, so I started using lifting gloves that have a fastening strap that wraps around the upper wrist with velcro. The bell rests on the strap instead of slamming on my actual wrist when I set for a press. Works like a charm.
EDIT: Mine were a bit cheaper than these but its the same idea.
