Completely an aside from the laptop specifics - don't use a pillow, it's gonna directly cause the two things you want to avoid. The laptop is gonna get hot as shit and in turn make the fans go crazy (loud). That's just how laptops are, especially a laptop with a dedicated graphics card as you are looking to get.

Get an under-laptop cooler and a couch laptop pad. Those are just the first examples I found, you'll have to search around for the best ones of each. The couch pad has a pillow underneath and a hard top, and the under-laptop cooler sits under your laptop (surprise!) and has small fans that'll keep the airflow. It'll make your experience far more comfortable and keep things cool and quiet, and it'll extend the lifetime of your laptop significantly.
