I think we should use this also as a place for suggestions.

I need a gaming computer...and while yeah a laptop would be nice because of space I am fine putting together a computer..but not sure if they have enough parts reduced to make it worth it right now. Any ideas if there is a good enough grouping of on sale parts for maybe 1300?

Or someone tell me if this is a good dea

FWIW I am good with computers...just not really in the whole pricing/what works together well scene.

I have only found a way to know what are the general specifications of my components (with CPU Z for example) but not brands and models

It's a closed system. There's nothing to maintain. I was going to recommend the slightly bigger model:

But it's currently sold out. Either one will handle VR well.

Having gone the upgraded tower route in 2017-2018, I'll say this. If you want to upgrade a tower to modernish specs, you're looking at a lot of limitations and headaches. Sometimes they run great but sometimes there are a lot of bugs to sort through. I can't really recommend it as something that a business would heavily rely upon because if it goes down, troubleshooting it can be really time consuming.

Unpopular as this may be to say in this subreddit, I think a Windows machine would be the best bang for your buck. Nothing in the Adobe suite is limited by being on Windows and dollar for dollar, you end up getting better specs.

This sort of machine would probably take you farther than either of the above options.

I don't see a system requirements on your page? From what I read about them there mainly based on internet and not based on a computer...
