So far, very enjoyable to type on. Coming from my TKL the transition has been surprisingly easy (although I imagine if I hadn't learned to touch-type first that might not be the case). I usually sit around 95WPM (on my preferred typing test at least...), after about a day on the Let's Split I was at something like 50WPM. A week later I was at ~80WPM and now, two weeks later, I'm back at my normal typing speed. I am getting a lot of satisfaction out of customizing my layouts/layers, the split form factor is very comfortable, and I love the MX Clears. Overall, I'd say this has been a success in all ways except budget expectation vs. reality...

Over the last few days I built this Iris Rev 3, with the details as follows:

  • PMK DSA PBT keycaps
  • Lubed and stickered 65g Zealios (honestly not sure if the stickers helped, but it wasn't much extra to do once I was lubing them all)
  • A cable from Amazon
  • Mid layer 3D printed by /u/GingeyMcGee420, who has an instagram for his 3D printing as well: @3dprintedelements
    • Thank you to /r/3Dprintmything as well as an effective subreddit for getting my thing 3D printed!

Switched over from my Ducky Year of the Snake, loving the compact size and function layers, not loving the muscle memory adjustment :P

Its called "metal spring wrap" https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IVRF8I2 I ve been trying to find a way to use it in my own custom cables to I can make a cable that is the exact length I want or use it to sleeve USB.
