i'd snag it if you're really in the market as most other retailers have it for about $69.

i certainly like it, but i'm a bit torn betwee it and more compact options. just to give you an idea...

Sure you can:

I got something like this (more or less same model, from different vendor) a while back. It's fucking crap to type on, but packs a keyboard and touchpad into a very small package. Works nice with my iPhone, computer, AppleTV, etc... At a push, it's enough if you're out and about. Some of these models even have a frickin's laser on them, for pointing at shit.

my actual purchase - this is the one i have but it isn't in stock. it came with a generic BT dongle that I use for my mouse. It is solely BT because I used it with my fire tv boxes, ps3, ps4 and macbook for presentations. I let my professor use it one day and she loved it and immediately bought her own. Slight learning curve if you use the dpad. it has < and > on the side with a laser light.

different look but BT

looks exactly like mine

I use this
it is cheap(reason I have it with 3 small kids) works great for me, it has an internal battery you charge up via usb. My laptop which I use connected to my TV is ~13ft away.

I have an older 42 inch LCD TV. I built my own HTPC for around $350 about 3 or 4 years ago so you could likely do it for cheaper now with the same specs. I use a Bluetooth mini-keyboard and touchpad to operate the PC.

The Specs on the PC are: Dual Core, Motherboard with onboard HDMI video output, 4 gigs of ram, 2 TB HD, CD/DVD Drive, and a Wireless PCI card.

For programs I run XBMC and multiple streaming websites. The websites include ABC, NBC, and other major networks as well as Hulu, YouTube, etc.

There are ways to "upgrade" XBMC and get a better experience for live TV. I would recommend a Google search because that would give you a much better description then I could on here.

The keyboard you linked to: does it support the trackpad? I've looked up a few similar bluetooth keyboard remotes and they usually say that the trackpad only works on Windows for some reason.

Quick edit: Like this one
>NOTE:

  1. The touchpad feature does not function when paired with tablets or mobile phones.

Honestly, racing games really suck @ 30fps. I would strongly avoid consoles for racing games, and would highly recommend getting a PC for your living room. The games are cheaper, and you can still use bluetooth controllers. It will cost you a little more upfront, but save you money over time.

You don't need a large keyboard / mouse setup either. You can buy something like this to control it from the sofa.
