It does have the D-rings on the shoulders so you might be able to run the sling through that.
I'd recommend a quick adjust 2 point sling, like an LBX, Ferro Concepts, Viking Tactics, or Blue Force. They're better for almost everything. You can get an M-lok sling swivel and use the loop on the back of your receiver or the hole in your stock.

What kind of sling do you have? On mine it has little clips that attach to the QD mount. There's two pieces you would need:
