Nicholas came to the Spring Fling in the afternoon, hoping to relax and get his mind off of his classes for a bit. After he entered the boy immediately headed for the locker room at the pool and stuffed all of his belongings into a locker and walking out to the pool wearing only his regular bathing suit and his dog-tags. This of course meant that his sleek black arm, Nightshade, and the various claw shaped scars covering his body were visible, particularly the deep (and somewhat cliche) swipe clearly shown across his back.
The amputee ran out of the locker room towards the pool, but not quite as expected. Nick had started in control, but after slipping on a particularly deep puddle, he kept running, more frantically this time, to keep his balance. Unfortunately this event had ended on the boy diving head first into the pool. This normally wouldn't be so bad as he was already about to go in anyways, but he had accidentally taken another student down with him in the attempt to not fall in. He looked over to his accidental victim and gave an extremely embarrassed and guilty look.
"Oh my god, I am so sorry. Are you okay? I uh... It was an accident I swear." He said, frantically trying to apologize.

Luna made an appearance at the Spring Fling after hearing about it from her friends earlier. She decided that this was a good opportunity for her. Not only would she be able to meet a few people and see some more of Vale's culture, but this was her first school event. Everything she had gone to as of yet was always either planned by students or educational. Not to mention it would be good to have some time away from schoolwork. She arrived with her bright orange earplugs placed in her white wolf ears as she always did when she came to large events such as this and browsed the booths around her. Eventually the Faunus made her way to the field where the performances were being held and decided to settle down for a little. Luna spread out a beach towel she had brought in case she decided to go swimming and laid down in the grassy field and pulled out a popular young-adult novel, listening to the songs being played while scanning through the book she had started a little while back, but never got to finishing.
