I feel like I'm constantly promoting amazon here but I might as well quote one of my old comments here.
>
>The last time I had to return an item to amazon, they told me to just put it back in the box it came it and leave it outside. I didnt even print out any label or anything, the delivery guy takes care of everything.
>If I wanted a replacement instead of a return it might have taken an extra day to get the new item, which I guess could suck for some people, but even that is guesswork..if you start the return process early enough you'd still be in time for next day delivery.
>On top of that, I've also just never felt like bestbuy went out of their way to serve me when I was displeased. They verymuch have that corporate 'why should i care?' attitude.

>For some reason, amazon does not. Just two more personal anecdotes real quick:
>Bought my mom some dvds for christmas a few years back and for some reason it didnt come in time. I open a complaint and they instantly refund my money, next day me another copy, and tell me to keep both.
>Even more insane:

>Bought Rocksmith(xbox game that should come with a cable to hook up a guitar->usb). Bought from third party seller, they did not include the cable. I open a dispute, amazon INSTANTLY puts money into my account and says to wait for the seller to contact me to resolve this.
>I then order from another third party seller, again no cable, i realize its probably a listing mistake on amazons end. I contact customer support, they offer to give me a $10 refund or something so I can go buy the cable locally. I point out that the cable costs $30 on their website and link them to it, they tell me to just order it from amazon and they'll zero it out.

>So I now have two copies of the game(first seller never followed up) and a cable, and paid for only one copy

So I mean you could say target is free, but I say that all it takes is one return process or dispute of any kind for amazon to be worth it.

Admittedly I've never had to make a return to target so I can't compare them 1:1, but the Amazon experience is just so great that to me its always worth paying a little more.

Theres also such a huge variety that having free 2day shipping just becomes useful for. If you've never done it before, go buy some random candy on amazon. these things are amazing, but browse around..you can get lots of fun import things.

You can also get super cheap stuff like this pack of 5 iphone charge cables for $3.

I think target's cheapest is this pink one, 1 for $10.

So.. yeah. It's nice to know target price matches if you really need something now instead of tomorrow, but it still is hard to compare to everything you get out of amazon.
