You should definitely look into a decent MicroSDXC card to store digital games, since many of the games worth playing on Switch are only available on the eShop. Plus, you'll want to take advantage of good sales when they come up.

Be sure to get a card from a manufacturer with a good reputation - there are a lot of phony cards out there that claim to be bigger than they actually are.

Here is a decent 128GB card for $18

Here's a 256GB card for $38

Here's a 512GB card for $71

Hope this helps!

I've been using this Lexar card on my Switch without issues:

https://www.amazon.com/Lexar-High-Performance-512GB-microSDXC-UHS-I/dp/B07KBQQ82D

And when it's on sale it goes down to about $50. Won't be too long until others follow suit I think, so I would wait a bit if you aren't having space issues. At least until this one goes on sale.

Deal of the Day, so get it quick.

Edit: It shows as $70 (at least on phone app), but click the "show me deal" button and it'll load the $53.

FYI I have Lexar 512GB microSD (633x rated one) in my One Mix 3 for scheduled backups. It is U3/A2 rated, up to 60MB/s write speed measured during backups. Right now at Amazon Prime for $53.

I'm going to try this with the following Lexar 512GB UHS-I U3 Micro SDXC card I just bought on amazon prime day for $53. I will report back my findings when the card arrives later this week.
