Episode 1 is a poor indicator of just how fantastic this game is.
Just drop the money and buy the full game if you have any interest in this title. It was easily one of my top games for 2015.

There are multiple Life is Strange games, but personally, I like the original Life is Strange (Season 1, episodes 1 through 5) the best. In fact, it is my all time favorite video game. Horizon Zero Dawn is also one of my favorite games, but these two games are not very similar. There is no combat in Life is Strange. The game's story, however, is incredibly powerful, and although there is no difficulty setting, you may find some of the choices you are faced with extremely difficult to make! Since you like Horizon for the story, I definitely think you will like Life is Strange too.
I believe the first episode is free on ps4, so you can try before you buy.
