The stands are heavy duty Loctek and are rated to 33lbs and 34”. Only ones I could find that could support that 27” super heavy LED Cinema Display or let me turn that 34” ultra wide LG in portrait for code and text editing.

They have USB and headphone/mic ports that are basically just cords mounted in the base but they work well enough on the USB front. I have them on a switch mounted under the desk so I can easily switch the peripherals between my personal Trashcan and my work MBP.

Loctek D7L for the 40".

Ergotech Freedom Arm for the portrait.

I wanted something sturdy because the monitor on the right is pretty heavy. I had to lower the gas spring more than halfway to make them adjustable, so their definitely sturdy. There are two usb ports on the front of each of them, which is nice too.

i asked that same question and got told to get a loctek d7L, doing my own research i found the ergotron hx which is double the price of the d7L but is rated up to an insane 42lbs. when i get my crg9 i think i'm gonna go with the d7L just for its usb, mic, and audio pass through on the base (and being half the price of the hx doesnt hurt).

auto mod bot are you happy now? is the 3rd time the charm that you let through and dont auto delete? ffs first and last time i put links in a comment on this subreddit

I have tried using my AmazonBasics arm on CRG9; it don't work.

the weight limit is really close already and plus I add couple stuff on top of the monitor. So that might be the reason why or maybe I just lost the quality control lottery on the amazon basica arm. Too many factors

but either way officially CRG9 monitor IS over the weight limit amazon arm supports.

I got Loctek D7L for $130 from Amazon(https://www.amazon.com/Loctek-Monitor-Spring-Weighting-13-2-33/dp/B01BXP9LT6/ref=sr_1_3) which supports up to 33lbs. this one holds the CRG9 but I did have to tighten the 'increase tension' on one of the parts to make the monitor not keep sagging so on that one part there is no extra room to adjust; I had to tighten it all the way.

Haha, ya - but I was at a point in my life where I said..fuck it - I'm going to finally go all out and get what I want! I'm thinking about switching the 43" for a 34" @ 100-120hz and changing the wall mount to https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BCA41C0 so I can move it down and in front of the middle and use it for gaming. I swear it's easy to get obsessed with this stuff, but I love it!

OR

Get a mount like this that can handle all 4 at once https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G9P4XGQ (switching the top to a 34" as well) and setting up a standing desk U shape with a base like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079SPKM13/

I have the same monitor and I use the Loctek D7L.

Not cheap and can be difficult to install by yourself, but solid and haven't had any problems after installing it properly. If you do go with this one, I would recommend taking off the vertical plate of the arm and installing it directly into the monitor, screwing it on very tight, and then after installing the arm onto the table, mount it onto the arm. Otherwise you'll have the monitor sag vertically.

I’ll save you some time. I use this one .

It works great for me and supports the weight of the monitor without the stand. You just have to make sure you really tighten the ‘tilt’ bolt to keep the monitor from sagging forward. Took me a while to get it right.

Or, you could go with a wall mount. This one was ideal for me as I am renting and didn’t want to put a hole in the wall

I purchased these for my two side panels, each one is 27 inches.

I then purchased this for my center panel, 34"

Loctek D7L Heavy Duty Gas Spring Swing Monitor Arm Desk Stand

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BXP9LT6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Holds the 38" nicely, the display weighs around 17 lbs.

u/PittsburghStruK · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

I have it mounted on one of my desk's grommets. The new mount itself (Loctek) has a smaller footprint on my desk, compared to the standard mount that came from the manufacturer. Once I purchase a house for myself, I will have it mounted on the wall.

u/bloxintrox · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

Just noticed this comment, sorry I didn't respond sooner. I am currently using https://amzn.to/2XWPsnn . I don't recommend it though as the arm seem to support the weight fine. However the tilt portion on the end of the arm can't be tightened enough and the monitor wants to swing face down.

I was also looking at the artic z1 pro gen 3. Though I hear it has sagging problems too when extended. With the depth of my desk having the arm extended is a must. So I am currently looking for a better solution as well.

I was worried about the weights on the ergotechs for my PG348Q so I went with the Loctek D7L. Works great.

u/african_or_european · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

I was thinking about trying out the Loctek gas spring. They're about half the price of the Ergotrons and are rated all the way to 33 lbs.

u/legallegends · 1 pointr/ultrawidemasterrace

desk to center.

I ended up going with this more expensive Loctek

I haven't bought this yet, but I have the same issue with a 43in LG monitor. This one is what I saw recommended before

This is what i plan to get for 49" samsung, talked to few people using it with it and they all said it's more sturdy then you would think and they expect to go for years. And they usually swing monitor left and right few meters.

u/MmmmThatsTasty · 1 pointr/battlestations

If it wasn't for living in an apartment, my monitor wires would be in the wall
Yea I had one of those Ikea organizers and got rid of it like a week later lol.
I'd eventually like to do the double Ikea Alex/Limmon desk with only one leg instead of 4 using more L-shape shelf brackets.

But first I'm upgrading the rig, and adding a 16:9 monitor above the super ultrawide.

If you're interested in the Samsung 32:9 and don't want to mount it, I do have a monitor arm I could sell you. It's the only one I found that could support the massive weight.

Up to 33lbs O_O

I have been using this over 6 months now. Works great. If you just want a wall mount literally like any TV mount that can hold at least 23lbs and matches the bolt pattern will work.
