You're going to need a 5 pin DIN to PS/2 adapter, a PS/2 keyboard and a serial to ps/2 adapter with a PS/2 mouse.
Looks like you have a CD drive so you'll probably want to install a very light weight linux like Tiny Core Linux
I don’t know why I was stuck on the whole USB thing when you can still buy a Logitech PS/2 mouse for $9.99 on amazon lol

Yeah, I don't think there's really anything that can be done with it without an ADB keyboard and mouse. The ADB protocol is different from USB so it's not just a matter of soldering on a different connector. As /u/DNA128k said, there don't seem to be any kind of adapters that will let you hook USB devices up to an ADB port.
I also looked for PS/2 to ADB adapters since PS/2 devices are still widely available, but the only one I could find for sale only works with mice, not keyboards. Also they're in the US, so it'd still probably be horribly expensive to ship. Only other thing I found was someone who custom-made an adapter to use PS/2 keyboards and mice with the really old, phone-cord-style keyboard port and rectangular mouse port used on the Mac Plus and earlier and later added ADB support for his Mac SE. Unfortunately it looks like this was a one-time project and the guy isn't selling the things.
Just in case, I also looked for anything on adding USB ports to an old mac via, e.g., the SCSI port like you can with Ethernet, but no luck there either.
There might be some hope of wiring up an Arduino to the port and having it pretend to be a mouse and keyboard but this would be more for electronics hobbyists to try than casual users. Someone did make an ADB library for Arduino and while the project looks undocumented and unfinished and unmaintained, its existence suggests that this may at least be possible.
I was actually just looking into the ADB protocol in the hope I could at some point program a microcontroller to interface with it as a device. I'm not a microcontroller dev but I'm interested in getting into it and thought this might be a fun project to work towards since I also have some old ADB Macs lying around. Doesn't really help you though :/
Hi all! I'm looking to buy a mouse:
Primary Games
Overwatch (FPS), Dirty Bomb (FPS), Hearthstone, Diablo 3 (ARPG). Play a bit of MMO here and there as well, but buttons aren't very important. Some mappable buttons would be pretty cool though.
Mouse Shape and Grip
I'm right-handed, but I'm open to ambidextrous mice if they're comfortable.
I switch between palm grip and what seems to be a hybrid palm-claw grip with my first middle finger bone (found within the palm) taking the entire weight of my hand while resting on the arc of the mouse.
My hand size: 18cm from pinky to thumb, 18cm from middle finger to wrist-line when outstretched
Budget
I have no budget, but the cheaper the better. Durability is the most important concern other than sensor and shape. I live in Singapore (SGD).
Preference
I'd like a light mice to prevent fatigue and also for FPS (unless someone would like to clue me in on how a heavy mouse would work out in FPS situations and for general browsing).
No preference for DPI, but I'd like to experiment with adjusting DPI to adjust sensitivity while keeping all software sensitivity to 1 on a 1920 x 1080 monitor. My ideal sensitivity is a comfortable wrist flick translating to a 150-170 degrees turn.
Current Mouse
My current mouse is an old Logitech PS/2 mouse pictured in this Amazon link weighing 90.71g, and dimensions 4.5" x 2.5" x 1.5".
Others
Durability is one of my highest priorities. I don't want to buy a new gaming mice every few years. Would also like advice on the companies' RMA process. Been hearing a lot of good stories about 1-to-1 replacements, but it wasn't made very clear. I assume they won't replace your mouse if it's out of warranty?
I also have the following mice shortlisted: Logitech G402, Logitech G502, Steelseries Rival 300, Roccat Kone Pure, the Zowie mice (although these seem very expensive for what I get). Leaning towards G502, but seems like it could be too heavy. The shape is comfortable for my hand, but I haven't had the chance to lift it up yet.
I also apparently lift my mouse A LOT for adjustments in FPS. A low LOD would be good, but I guess I can make do with the tape trick.
