The reviews weren't spectacular, so i was taking a chance. I haven't had any of the issues people mentioned with disconnects, I've walked around the house with em to grab water or a snack and never had a problem talking to people on discord. I'm in a rural area though, so really no interference at all.
The battery didn't seem to last for the whole 8 hours, i'd averaged about 6 after using them a while. I ended up doing the battery mod (you can see in the gallery below)...and now I just charge em every 2 days, it was ridiculously easy, i just took the protection circuit from the original battery and soldered to the 2200mah galaxy s3 battery, works perfect.

Pads seem to be pleather, are removable and are replacements on amazon. For the price i think they're an absolute steal, especially if you plan on doing the battery mod.
