Many of us here swear by it. I've only ever nicked myself with it once and even when I did, no blood. Whereas with other razors, I have drawn blood.

For me, I have been trimming first with scissors to get cut down any excessively long hairs and then using the Mangroomer
I've never used it in the shower, so it can be a bit of a mess.
