It seems like Direct TV is has the issues with HDCP and they're blaming the HDMI cables, which is why they're having you switch to component.
EDIT: You may want to try looking at an HDCP stripper or down-converter like this one to resolve the issue if they are going to take a while.
Yeah monoprice blackbird. Converts hdcp 2.2 to hdcp 1.4 for 4K “legacy” displays. $35

That Device is not a Splitter just a Stripper and it’s 4K Compatible so you can Rip UltraHD BluRays!

Use a down sampler like this: Monoprice 115242 Blackbird 4K Pro HDCP Converter, 2.2 to 1.4 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CT7THLO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_B7aNBb3T9Y3ZM
This is the [splitter] (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B071G4NXNH/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) I use. It only has one output but several inputs so I can hook up my switch, chromecast and my ps4 pro. And the PS4 doesn't show anything at all. If i connect my splitter to the tv it works fine but if I connect it to the grabber nothing happens but my switch works fine. The splitter you linked doesn't support 4k output which I need as I have a 4k tv.
Edit: should point out I'm planning on using this [converter] (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01CT7THLO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to try and get the HDCP to 1.4.
Here's the product and this description in the info ...

NOTE: In regards to the PS4 Pro, you must "Disable HDR video and choose 4K@30hz resolutions
Ahh damn it.. You are right I am using a 4k monitor that uses old HDCP, oh well.. I guess I better dish out 35 bucks for https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CT7THLO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is the only alternative to the HDCP: Monoprice Blackbird 4K Pro HDCP Converter, 2.2 to 1.4 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CT7THLO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_awZyybN6VPTQA
But of course can't do anything about the HDR since can't add that.
I use this one. Works perfectly fine.

So with my monitor which has HDMI 2.0, this would resolve the issue with my monitor not having HDCP 2.2 due to the limitation of 1.4 that it has?
Would this be the one? Monoprice Blackbird 4K Pro HDCP Converter, 2.2 to 1.4 https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01CT7THLO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_wvmpybGPR459R
I never heard anything else from Roku, but I did solve my problem.
I bought a Hdcp converter from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Blackbird-Pro-HDCP-Converter/dp/B01CT7THLO
Check Monoprices website because it's cheaper there but was OOS when I needed one.
Hope this helps you as it did me!
