This is the one I personally use and love it. Don't buy it from here though. It normally goes for $15. I only linked this one for the pictures.

• IDK if this is actually the same exact model I use, but it's almost identical. And it says it holds 8 games but I've actually been able to fit 2 games in each sleeve. It also says it's for XL but it has a little extra room to fix a N3DSXL.

I don't think you're going to be able to find a truly compact case that will hold the XL, games, and the standard charger.

I've just been using an RDS 'Game Traveler' case. It holds the XL, eight games, and two extra styluses. It also has a lanyard that tucks away into the case if unneeded. Here is an Amazon link with more pictures, but don't buy it there. This case won't hold the wall charger though. I've just been sticking a USB charging cable into mine, or putting the wall charger into a separate pouch of my bag since I'm usually carrying a bag anyways if my XL is in its case.

I've also seen these Power A Transporter cases. They should hold the XL, twelve games, and the chager as well. I believe that they're cheapest at Walmart, but Target (and Amazon) sell them as well.

Then there is the Water Field 3DS XL CitySlicker case. They are more aesthetically pleasing in my opinion, but they are also more expensive ($49). I believe that they could carry the XL, games, and a charger, but I haven't seen them in person. I plan on getting one of these soon.

Pros: It's very a very good travelling case. It has quite a sturdy shell to protect the system from falls and inside it has elastic straps to hold the system and a small flap that holds 8 games. You can actually put two games in the little sleeves and fit 16 games in the flap, plus one in the N3DSXL. Plus it has some holders for extra stylus.

Cons: Quite large so it can't fit in your pocket. Has no mesh sleeve to carry any extra accessories.

If you're just looking for a pouch the I can recommend this one enough.

8 game slots, extra stylus holder, wrist strap and it's sturdy as heck.

I got this guy as a gift and it works great. Won't fit a full wall charger, but I can fit my usb cable in there.
