1. Funnily enough, I remember when I turned 17, my brother bought me a Nintendo DS and the latest Super Mario game along with it. One of my favorite gifts. I'm 28 now and I still remember it so I think it was a good gift. I think the "Nintendo NEW 3DS" is the latest iteration(2015) but I think its around $200. X_X
   
   
2. Alternatively, Etsy has some cool, Game of Thrones stuff. The "Hand of the King" pin is a pretty significant piece of GoT lore. Hodor door stopper is kinda funny.
   
   
3. HBO's website also has foam 'replica's' of some of the main characters weapons. Would be cool to buy one for your little brother and one for you and fight each other. =P In the show, the main character Jon Snow buys the sword Needle for his little sister and Jon Snow uses Longclaw.

There's this one on Amazon for $169.99, which is about $40 more than the 2ds results that showed up.

EDIT: Be aware that the new 3DS only comes with the console, not the charger.

There is a small new 3ds released for NA and eu too that was bundled with super Mario world. I think it's about 170$

I'm planning on purchasing a 3ds, and with the latest 3ds firmware by serial being around a year old and comments from about 3 month ago, which in 3DS hacking years is a lot of time.
I've purchased and broken 3 3dses for reasons other than I bricked them, more like I dropped them or something like that.
I never got into hacking before, so I'd like to try with this new 3ds.
My goal here is to get a soundhax compatible US brand new New 3ds XL under 270$ off of Amazon, meaning firmwares from 9.0-11.3.
