Over-the-ear headphones aren't an issue at all. https://www.amazon.com/d/Ear-Headphones/Panasonic-Rp-hs46e-k-Slim-Clip-Earphone/B002GAXWF2

I think any headphones should work however with ones that have a built in mic there might be an extra wire to work around. My understanding is you can just abandon that wire.
Aren't Apple headphones in ear also?
Might want to think about something like these

I wear earplugs with these cheap panasonic ones to listen to satnav. My helmet flips up at the front so I can pull it apart a bit to fit it over my ears with these on. They also fit behind the helmet padding but I'd take the plastic clip off for a better fit for that.
I just ordered these ones and while I haven't used these specific headphones, I've used this style for years and it's definitely my favorite.
I got these.

They work fine and the cable is just the right length to thread through the straps so the earphones hang down ready for use.
I can't stand them either. I wear these. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002GAXWF2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Budget $20
Hi, I'm looking for a decent pair of workout headphones that won't slip out of my ears. Ideally with some kind of clip like one of these two,
https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-RP-HS46E-K-Clip-Earphone-Black/dp/B002GAXWF2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478642450&sr=8-1&keywords=clip+headphones

Really just looking for the best bang for my buck.
I can't do anything in my ears at all. Even high end super soft memory foam ear plugs hurt after only a little while.
So I use something like these guys instead. For anyone who cares about sound quality they're awful, but they're good enough for getting the job done!
What extra cables would be needed? I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with how the Bionik ones connect to PSVR.
I think for most users a simple pair of clip on headphones like these on Amazon would be the cheapest and easiest solution. They wouldn't stay attached to the headband by default but a velcro strap or two should fix that.
The best alternative to earbuds

I've got a Red helmet.
Instead of dishing out tonnes of cash for their brand of headphones, I just went and bought some like these.

Looking for Bluetooth on-ear or earbud headphones that are compact, comfortable, and won't fall out of my ear.
Budget: under $100
Source: Pixel 2 android phone
Isolation: None to some. I wear these while working in a lab so I need to be aware of my surroundings
Used in public: Yes
Headphone type: On-ear or earbud. I would prefer on-ear as earbuds seem to always fall out of my ears but I dislike the headband style that on-ears always have. I find IEMs to be very uncomfortable.
Past headphones: I love my Panasonic RP-HS46E-K Slim Clip-on Earphones (https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-RP-HS46E-K-Clip-Earphone-Black/dp/B002GAXWF2). They are super compact, comfortable, and low isolation but I am looking to switch to a wireless headphone to give me more freedom of movement while at work and so I don't have to use an adapter with my new phone.
Preferred music: mostly listen to podcasts, not super picky about audio quality
Wanting to improve: Bluetooth connectivity
Location: US
I use something like this, but maybe an over the ear earbud would work better.
If you have SteamVR you should be able to find the controllers under the folder vr_controller_vive_1_5 here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\resources\rendermodels\ The model appears fairly accurate to the real thing but I am unsure if it meets manufacturing tolerances. Models are in .obj but most programs should be able to open it. Just make sure the scale is correct on import.
I, however, don't see an accurate model of the hmd other than the Rift DK2, a generic HMD, and what looks like the Valve prototype hmd.
I did see this but it is not downloadable. Can't hurt to ask https://sketchfab.com/models/0eae43ef20b14f27ab703c1ad7174c26
I am wanting to make accessories myself but haven't gotten a 3d printer yet. I am hoping to make a holder that clips on the headset to hold clip-on style headphones like this https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-RP-HS46E-K-Clip--Earphone-Black/dp/B002GAXWF2
I recommend these https://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-RP-HS46E-K-Slim-Clip-Earphone/dp/B002GAXWF2/ref=sr_1_sc_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1465513818&sr=8-3-spell&keywords=panasonic+thin+headlphones
cheaper than all these "sleepphones"
