Yeah, that will be a scam of one sort or another; don't purchase it.

Just look at prices from reputable vendors to get a good estimate. Here's one from PNY for $86.

Currently $49.50 shipped on Amazon. Amazon.com isn't the seller, which sometimes matters when buying flash drives. Also the pictured device is slightly different, but the model # is the same.

Mozilla sometimes needs to be restarted for the extension to work (Chrome and Safari don't have this issue). So I'd say first try restarting. Once you've done that, visit an amazon page like this one. Here's a Target page to try.

Also keep in mind you don't need an extension to use the website. You can use the search box on the top of the site to search by keyword or url. Just paste an amazon url in it and you'll get a page like this.

If PZ knows about that item, you'll see a "PZ" icon in the right side of the URL bar (will look like this). Click it to see the price history. It will also show sales rank history (if available) and let you add it to your watchlist.

You don't even need an SSD. Just get a 250gb USB flash drive. It's what I use and my games load in 5-10 seconds. I keep all my current games on the flash drive and my other games on an external 7200rpm drive. I just move back and forth if I need to. If you really pay attention you can get a 256gb flash drive for $40-70. I have a PNY drive.

Edit: This is the exact drive I currently am using and know it works perfectly when setup as a storage device and not a media device.

Wrong. So wrong....

I paid $69.99 over 3 years ago for a decent 256GB USB 3.0 one.

Proof: https://imgur.com/a/v70YxRB

I used a giftcard/amazon promo credit and also got credited some amount for some issues which is why the total is different.

Also its $39.99 now, not $80. freaking guy just making shit up....

I don't think it does natively, but you may be able to install ntfs-3g on a bootable USB. I'd check out Amazon for their 256GB USB 3 keys. Not an ideal or immediate solution, but it's <$50. Might be worth having around.

If you want something rugged that will hold up to falls, dust, and sand, flash memory is the way to go. Much more durable than a hard drive.

Unfortunately, SSDs are outside your price range. If you can make 256GB work for enough movies and TV, then a flash drive like this is worth it.

Just something to think about. Buying two of those might be an option depending on your position. Even one, if you're willing to go with standard definition video content, 256GB will hold weeks worth of entertainment.

>It backs up everything for all profiles, and will take up more than a USB stick...

that is not necessarily true. OP said his brother has an original PS3, so he may have only a 20, 40, or 60GB hard drive. 64GB USB flash drives are inexpensive and very common these days. Heck, you can get a 128GB flash drive for $35 delivered right now. moving up to a 256GB, it starts to get expensive.

Not the highest performing drive or the cheapest. Seems decent though.

You must have a huge library. One of these would cover me.

Yeah, I used one of these - http://www.amazon.com/PNY-Turbo-256GB-Flash-Drive/dp/B00JN1TOHM/ - PNY 256GB USB 3.0 flash drives.

Yes, but my drive died, found out that the internal is the same as https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JN1TOHM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and replaced it. Just snapped right in.

I mean something like this vs something like this From my understanding you can purchase an HD USB stick and a SSD USB stick, is that wrong? If so why is there such a large price difference when both are 3.0 and use the same storage?
