Be careful with extension cords. Length and small gauge can cause significant voltage drop under load. Better to carry three 30 footers than one 100 footer and use only what is needed lengthwise.
My 3 would not even start charging from my 120V outlet in my detached garage. The only reason I can think of was the 100 ft of 14 gauge wire that was supplying electricity to it.
10 AWG like this should be OK for constant high load.
