Splunk - Receives my FW, DNS, Snort, and OSSEC logs. I have dashboards to filter this data.

Snorby - Also receives my Snort logs. I like this a little better than Splunk as I can view packet contents.

OSSEC - I used this for file integrity and endpoint monitoring on my servers and desktop. Functions as a host based IDS.

Nessus - I use this every once in a while to see if there are any open holes. Otherwise, I just use nmap and iptables to close everything off.

Unifi Controller - for managing my AP.

My VMs, configs, and files are backed up to a HDD I keep offline. I'm thinking about adding a NAS into the mix for somewhere around 200-400 dollars. Low energy consumption preferably if anyone had any recommendations. :)

Something like this and a bluetooth/usb keyboard?

u/Richard_MF_Nixon · 1 pointr/pcgamingtechsupport

Both devices will need to be online to stream the content, and getting them on the same LAN without being online could prove difficult.

You could get a screen like this: [Link to Amazon] It supports HDMI and has a decent resolution. It isn't too big either, though there are smaller options. Just make sure to check the resolution on anything like this before you buy it.

Get a bluetooth gamepad. Make sure your laptop is set to do nothing on lid close, hook it to a charger, Hook the small monitor up via HDMI, pair laptop to your controller, launch Steam Big Picture Mode, and stuff it in your backpack. It should output to the small screen in your lap/on your desk. Use big picture and your controller to select a game and launch it.

Yeah this 10" 800p rasp pi targeted monitor probably makes a better match with the Alpha for size and resolution. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J52TWD4?psc=1
