I used this pad on top of my inflatable mattress. The aluminized side makes a huge difference in warmth. It made my back sweat when i tested it out in my house. Obviously I didn't sweat when i had it in my tent at 30ยฐ

I bought some 1" elastic webbing at Walmart and sewed some loops together to hold the foam pad on top of the mattress. Worked like a charm. It was so annoying having the two mats sliding around.
