I just got one of the little $10 ultralight camp stoves from Amazon that screw onto a jetboil fuel tank. I've used my friend's jetboil plenty and the $10 one is just as simple and fast but a fraction of the price. We were boiling over a liter of water in like 2-3 minutes. Definitely the easiest, most compact, and most affordable option.
