After I had faggot scratched into my car twice I got this it turns on if the car is jostled might at least help you catch the asshole.

Physical install took five minutes. Another five minutes to format the memory card, set the time, options, etc. It comes with a little plastic tool so you can tuck the wire up along the top edge of the windshield, down the a-pillar to the dash.

I leave it at its default setting of 1920 x 1080 at 60 fps since it interpolates the image to achieve the advertised 4K and I'd rather get the 60 fps.
