tho its a bit chunky

For me it's this one , although yours does look nicer, this one seems to have bigger ear muffs that will cover your entire ear.

So there's two options, you can either buy [This](Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IAVDOS6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_Omb2oZEYjoCPj) and allow anything to plug into it to receive noise from your Xbox or you can buy it with a headset.
